In an effort to be more interesting (maybe!), I decided to start posting cool quilting tips and tutorials, along with some of my shop fabrics that would work for that project.
I love Pinterest, and use it daily for both my business and my personal life.
Today I found this sew cute scrappy block on Pinterest. I am a scrap quilt lover, and my favorite color is blue...so this picture jumped off the page at me. Imagine a whole quilt in all blues...OR...make each block in a different scrappy color family! And remember that in a scrappy quilt, the background fabrics of each block can also be different!
The blog where it came from - The Q and the U - is lots of fun and very interesting. Just click on this link for the tutorial for this fun block.
Now...do you need to fill in a color way in your stash? If you do, and you love fat quarters, check out my new SELECT A SIZE options on all of my yardage listings! All (almost!) fabric is now available as fat quarters or half yard increments!
And...I'm having a BIG SALE! Everything in the store is 20% off, even items already on sale or clearance! Use coupon code MAY20 for 20% off - $10 minimum purchase - Unlimited uses - Expires May 31. Just visit Fabric ala Carte to browse!
